Information Collection
Groove Vibes Events collects personal information during the account registration process including, but not limited to, your full name, contact details, and payment information such as personal bank account information. Event organizers may also be prompted to provide event-specific information, such as event details, images, and pricing as well as transactional data, such as purchase information; and technical data, such as information about cookies. This information may be required by Groove Vibes for account management, verification, and communication purposes. We reserve the right collect the necessary information to process transactions between Groove Vibes Events and event organizers as well as event attendees. We also reserve the right to collect any information that is legally required by the law of The Republic of South Africa.
Payment Information
Payment information provided during ticket sales is securely processed by our payment partners. Groove Vibes Events does not store or retain credit card information.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
