Welcome to Groove Vibes Events, the ultimate portal for event organizers to showcase their events and sell tickets seamlessly. By using our platform, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:
Event Listing and Ticket Sales:
a. Event organizers are allowed to list their events on Groove Vibes Events and sell tickets through the portal.
b. Two payment plans are available for event organizers to choose from: Commissions Based Plan and Premium Based Plan.
Commissions Based Plan:
a. Event organizers choosing this plan will not be liable for any upfront costs to list their events on our portal, however, their ticket proceeds will be subject to a 5% commission as well as a R6,50 processing fee on each ticket sold which will be incurred by the event attendee. This fee could be charged to event attendees when they checkout or may be deducted from the ticket price set by the organizer.
b. Payment of the commission as well as the processing fee will be processed by Groove Vibes Events and deducted from the total ticket sales revenue or may be added on as an extra expense when attendees purchase a ticket depending on what the event organizer may prefer.
Premium Based Plan:
a. The event attendees of the organizers opting for the Premium Based Plan will not incur any commission fees for each ticket sold.
b. Instead, event organizers will be required to pay a premium price, calculated based on the specific event’s specifications upfront before their event is listed on our portal.
Account Registration and Information:
a. Event organizers must provide accurate and up-to-date information during the account registration process.
b. Groove Vibes Events reserves the right to verify the information provided and suspend or terminate accounts with inaccurate or incomplete details.
Event Content:
a. Event organizers are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of the content provided, including event details, images, and ticket pricing.
b. Groove Vibes Events reserves the right to remove or suspend events that violate our content guidelines.
Payment and Payouts:
a. Payments for ticket sales on the Commissions Based Plan will be processed by Groove Vibes Events, and payouts to event organizers will be remitted when an event reaches the minimum threshold of ticket sales for a payout. Commissions, as well as processing fees, will be charged to your attendees upon each sale of event tickets.
b. For the Premium Based Plan, all ticket proceeds collected will be processed by Groove Vibes Events and subsequently remitted to event organizers, excluding any commission or processing fees payable for your event attendees.
c. Event organizers are required to reach a minimum threshold of at least 40 event tickets sold (or 50% of all ticket sales in the event, wherein event organizers have fewer than 40 tickets available for their event) before they are eligible to receive their payouts.
Refunds and Cancellations:
a. Event organizers are responsible for setting their refund and cancellation policies.
b. Groove Vibes Events is not responsible for issuing refunds; organizers must handle these directly with event attendees. Please view this page to find out more about our refund policy.
Legal Compliance:
a. Event organizers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding events, ticket sales, and online transactions.
b. Groove Vibes Events reserves the right to cooperate with law enforcement authorities and disclose any information necessary for legal purposes.
Termination of Account:
a. Groove Vibes Events reserves the right to terminate or suspend an event organizer’s account for any violation of these terms and conditions.
Changes to Terms and Conditions:
a. Groove Vibes Events may update these terms and conditions at any time. Event organizers will be notified of such changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
By using Groove Vibes Events, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our platform.
